Lay the foundations for a well balanced dog by attending group Life Skills training classes with your puppy, adolescent or adult dog!​​​

I am an Animal Training Instructor practitioner of the

Animal Behaviour and Training Council, and member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers.

So you can be sure I am a well educated and qualified trainer following strict guidelines to provide force free, ethical and science led training methodologies to set you off on the right paw!

Designed to support puppy owners with their new member of the family!

For those that just want to get it right straight away and to have a clear understanding of why dogs behave the way they do. This course is there to help you from anytime between your puppies developmental stages of 8-20 weeks of age.

A 45minute-1hour class per week (over 6 weeks) with detailed written summary emails after each class recapping what you learnt & homework for each week.

Within this course you will learn the key aspects of being a puppy guardian such as:

  • Getting you started with daily basic training including but not limited to- loose lead walking, recall, sit/stay, settling and proofing behaviours with increased criteria

  • 'Speaking dog' through understanding canine body language

  • How to socialise your puppy with other dogs and new environments

  • How to engage your puppy in training

  • How to support your puppy with typical puppy behaviours such as appropriate mouthing & play

  • Teaching your puppy to love their walking and grooming equipment

  • Teaching your puppy to be comfortable at the vets through cooperative care techniques

  • House manners

  • How to minimise chances of complex behaviours arising such as resource defence behaviours and reactivity

For those whose dogs may have taken a few steps back in their training, or maybe you have welcomed a new dog into your home. This course is there to help you anytime from your dogs adolescence into adulthood.

  • How to politely greet people & other dogs

  • How to engage your dog in training

  • How to support your dog with typical teenager behaviours such as learning to relax and appropriate play

  • Teaching your dog to love their walking and grooming equipment

  • Teaching your dog to be comfortable at the vets through cooperative care techniques

  • House manners

  • How to minimise chances of complex behaviours arising

  • As well as troubleshooting daily training including but not limited to- loose lead walking, recall, sit, down, stay, and proofing behaviours with increased criteria
